Jennie Scott is a Textile Practitioner with over 20 years of experience. While having a passion for designing and creating her own textile products she has taught GCSE and A-Level Product Design Textiles for 13 years.
At Young Masters we will be exploring a range of different decorative textile techniques from hand embroidery to free machine embroidery. We will be discovering how fabric is constructed and recreate our own woven fabric. We will be discovering how to use a sewing machine to join fabrics together, researching different seams learning how and why they work. We will then combine all of these techniques into designing and creating a final product.
