Fun rugby activities for toddlers and children

[Link https://www.rugbytots.co.uk/ ] consists of fun, structured play sessions which will take children on a journey of sporting imagination. They are run by engaging and energetic coaches who will support them every step of the way. The sessions are weekly and during this time they will learn how to catch, pass, kick, run with the ball and play as part of a team.



The team behind seek to make exercise fun. They do this by delivering a specifically designed programme for each age group with energy, enthusiasm and excitement. This creates an atmosphere in the class that is totally unique and engaging for parents and children alike.



The first classes are for children aged between two and three and a half. These classes require full parent participation and they offer a fantastic opportunity for you and your child to spend quality time together. Rugbytots' toddler classes provide a fun environment for your child to learn new skills, meet new friends and have an exciting introduction to rugby. The classes take place weekly and last 30 minutes.



Rugbytots’ activities for three and a half and four year olds include a range of rugby-specific skills.
You child will learn about finding space, looking after the ball, scoring tries and running with the ball in two hands. The classes are 45 minutes long and they will help to improve their general agility and balancing skills. The last group is for five to seven year olds and these are also 45 minute sessions. Here they will start to learn the basics of rugby and this will lay the foundations for progressing in the sport.
