Angler's Country Park has a very special themed trail centred around the bestselling children's book 'Room and the Broom'. The trail itself is a permanent fixture and it is free to do. Children get to see the characters of the book come to life and it provides a fun outdoor experience for all the family!

The trail is a circular route around the lake and is accessible by foot, cycle, buggy or wheelchair. As you walk along the path you will come face to face with a range of sculptures from 'The Room on the Broom'. The witch, cat, dog, bird, frog and the terrifying dragon are all ready and waiting to be found. Seeing the wooden carvings really helped bring the book to life and it is a fun day out.
