From the endangered lemurs of Madagascar to the rare Scottish Wildcat there are animals here to engage adults and children alike. Don't miss out on the keeper talks and feeding times as you will get to learn all about the different kinds of animals living here. Our favourites are the meerkats, but, if reptiles are more your thing, there is a house full of them to examine.

They offer animal handling opportunities here, which include rabbits, guinea pigs and reptiles The pony petting is also very popular. These are a great 'hands-on' experience for all children.

There are lots of different areas at the centre for children to blow off steam. They have recently opened a new adventure playground, where children can climb, jump, swing and slide to their hearts content. The zipwire is great fun too. There are lots of picnic benches nearby, so you won't miss out on the action.
